The show she was on ended 7th Heaven after performing in the sixth season. Her stellar performance as the teenage Casey Jackson in the film Ulee's Gold brought her instant recognition. Actually, the film won her Best New Actress in Supporting. Comedy film Summer Catch bears the proof of her brilliant acting ability. While she did give an outstanding performance, Rules of Attraction didn't receive much attention. The horror film The Texas Chainshaw Massacre brought her to the notice to the attention of the general public. Also, she's appeared in suspenseful films and proved herself an actor.
