Sharon Yvonne Stone, born on March 10, 1958, from Meadville (Pennsylvania) was the daughter of Dorothy Lawson, a former employee at a factory and Joseph William Stone, a tool and die maker. Michael, Kelly and Patrick are her brothers and sisters. Stone is a gifted student in the classroom as an infant, started her second grade education at the age of five. Stone graduated from high school with a diploma in Saegertown located in Saegertown in Pennsylvania in 1975. She also competed and won the Miss Pennsylvania beauty contest. Stone, along with her Aunt in 1977, made the move into New Jersey for a modeling job. She signed with Ford Modeling Agency a week later. After one year of modeling between Milan and Paris, Stone moved to Europe. Stone but was dissatisfied with Europe in the modeling business and decided to move to acting. At the age of 20, she appeared in Woody Allen's "Stardust Memories" the film which got mixed praises.
