Gemma arterton
Gemma Christina Arterton was born in Gravesend, a Kent town, Greater London. She is most famous for roles in films including Quantum of Solace, The Disappearance of Alice Creed, along with a host of other such as 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters. Her birthplace was in Gravesend (Kent), Greater London and she was a student at the Royal Academy of Dramatic art. While in the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, she began her career through a part as an actress supporting in the comedy "St Trinian's'. Soon after, she appeared in the spies thriller "James Bond" film "Quantum'. The film was commercially successful, but got mostly favorable reviews. The actress then played the female lead in the action-fantasy film 'Prince Of Persia: The Sands of Time'. In the past, she was an important role in the French film "Orphan". Arterton has been nominated for numerous prizes throughout her career. The award she won was her the "Empire Award for the Top Newcomer" for her performance in the film 'Quantum of Solace', along with the "Evening Standard Theatre Award" for her performance in the musical'Made in Dagenham". In 2011, she received the Glamour Award for the Best Woman of the year.
